COUNCIL 2010 90 YEARS OF MAKING A DIFFERENCE Saturday May 22, 2010 Winslow Academic Center, Lasell College, Newton, MA Workshops   Running for Office in Massachusetts State Senator Sonia Chang-Diaz and Suffolk County Sheriff Andrea Cabral discuss the ins and outs of the campaign trail at the local and state level.   Debates Candidates, Media and Voters: Is There Common Ground? During campaigns the candidates, the media and the voters have different perspectives and needs.   The challenge for forums and debates is to address the various interests in a balanced way which serves all three.   A panel representing each of these perspectives will discuss where there is common ground and how the LWV can use it to encourage forums that better educate citizens.  Featuring Michael Weiler, Emerson College; Sarah Coletti, LWV - Acton Area, and a media representative.   Sponsored by,
