  Voting Information

Optech and Optech Eagle voting systems

Optech and Optech Eagle are scanned ballot cards. In order to vote for a candidate or a ballot question, you must draw a line to connect the arrow next to the candidate's name or next to the word "yes" or "no" for a ballot question with the special pens provided. After completing the ballot, you insert it into a scanning device which reads and registers your vote.

If you make an error, you may ask for a new ballot. You must turn in the spoiled ballot when you get the new one. You can do this two times, the third ballot will count.

If your name is not on the voter registration list, and you believe that you have registered properly, ask for an escrow ballot. You cast your vote on this ballot which will be counted after your voter registration status is verified.
