National Student Parent Mock Election

 

Mission/Purpose: The National Student/Parent Mock Election makes students and parents aware of the power of their ballot by actively involving them in a full-fledged campaign and national election. The National Student/Parent Mock Election is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization.

Programs/Activities: Students from across the country participate in the National Student/Parent Mock Election in their schools not only by casting their votes on Mock Election Day, but by leading Mock Election projects schoolwide, districtwide, and statewide. The NSPME website provides a wide variety of ideas for students to get involved and sample curricula for middle and high school educators.

Participants: Students in grades K-12.
