NATIONAL TEEN LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

Mission/Purpose: Cultivating and inspiring teens to become civic leaders is of lasting benefit to the entire community. The National Teen Leadership Program (NTLP) encourages students to understand that it is within their power to help those in need and to show peers how they can contribute.

Programs/Activities: NTLP is a high-energy, 3-day program designed to motivate and inspire students to positions of leadership. The NTLP Weekend includes:

  • Three (3) exceptional, motivational speakers
  • Four (4) outstanding and fun workshops
  • Numerous interactive, small-group sessions
  • A challenging, teambuilding low ropes course
  • A business interview with local professionals
  • Dorm accommodations at CSU Sacramento
  • All meals and late-night snacks
  • A late-night DJ dance
  • Extraordinary students from around the nation

Participants: NTLP is open to all students in grades 9 – 12, including incoming freshman and outgoing seniors.

Fees:  The $385 fee includes university accommodations, all meals, seminar materials, program book, and a tee shirt.
