Issues and Action

Legislative Priorities

The League of Women Voters of Massachusetts, as we do every year, has chosen a number of legislative issues that we think League members can act on most effectively. With the help and support of our members and friends, the 2007-2008 session should be one of lively and successful advocacy at the State House.

We will keep members informed through the MA League Leaders Update, the Massachusetts Voter, Action Alerts and this site about what’s happening in these areas.  We will let you know when we need you to take action. Our lobbying efforts will succeed only if we have the help of a significant number of League members who contact their own legislators about these important issues.
