League of Women Voters In The News

Yesterday, the League of Women Voters of Massachusetts launched a
campaign to increase voter participation this year, especially among
adults ages 18-24. The group set up a website,
www.votinginfo.info, with
information on voting and registration.Galvin said getting registered
now would solve the questions surrounding eligibility. ''This is the
time to
resolve those questions,'' Galvin said. ''So that's why I think this
campaign from the League is such a
service.''
Galvin said the registration deadline is Feb. 11 for the March 2
primary.
