The Empowering Voters Project was initiated to:

Make voting fairer and easier for the citizens of Massachusetts

Ensure citizens go to the polls knowing their rights and responsibilities
Project highlights and goals include:

Removing needless restrictions on absentee voting

Allowing Election Day Registration

Encouraging youth civic engagement with the creation of the “Directory of Civic Engagement & Leadership Programs for Massachusetts Youth”

Allowing early voting

Educating voters, in multiple languages, on their rights and responsibilities

Ensuring the continuing impartiality of elections officials
